The Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Chianti Classico from the Frantoio del Grevepesa comes from the charming Florentine hills, in the area between the comune of San Casciano Val di Pesa and of Greve in Chianti. The olives used for the production of this oil are harvested and transported in crates directly to the mill, where a quick transformation keeps the characteristics and organoleptic properties intact. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Chianti Classico is pleasantly brilliant to the eye, accompanied by strong herbaceous notes that are reminiscent of the aroma of fresh vegetables. It has a balanced, elegant, and harmonious taste that confirms the fragrant notes of artichoke with a hint of enveloping bitter. Recommended use and conservation: An excellent oil to accompany the traditional cabbage and legume soups of Tuscan cuisine, but also as an ingredient in a simple pinzimonio (dip) and, why not, as a creative note on a dark chocolate cupcake.
